Our Policy & Curriculum Information
Smithfield, Wilson's Mills & Clayton NC Child Care, Early Learning & Development Center.
Kid’s Country educational curriculum begins in our infant class. Our programs combine a balance between child-initiated and teacher-facilitated learning.
We feel a need to build a foundation of lifelong learning by encouraging children to learn through play. We believe that children need time to freely explore and discover, but also engage in directed learning from the teacher which prepares young learners for educational success.

Kid’s Country curriculum helps build vocabulary and encourage imagination.
Our approach uncovers appropriate ways to express their creativity and safely discover the world around them with toddlers and twos.
This curriculum goes beyond academics. Our goal is to promote social and emotional development, creativity and positive approaches. Learning while encouraging a preschooler’s playfulness language, science, patterning, independent thinking and creative expression are a few of the skills covered with three – four year old children.
